Responsibilities &
Qualifications:
This Particular Drivers primary focus will be to ensure that our Storage Units and Portable Offices are picked up and/or delivered from assigned locations. Driver will also prepare, receive and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of Units/Offices to ensure timely service. Driver will always maintain radio or telephone contact with our dispatcher to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up.
Responsibilities:
Transport Storage Units and Offices to/from customer site. This will include:
Loading and Securing Unit/Office on the Truck
Surveying the customer property for obstructions and placement of the Unit/Office on the property
Pick-up and either deliver Unit/Office to next customer or return the Unit/Office to Branch Location.
Prepare and provide appropriate documentation to the customer for the delivery or pick-up.
Inspect units for damage and tracks and/or document any damage on the customer property prior to removing the Unit/Office
Perform pre-trip/post-trip safety inspections of truck and trailer, this includes (but is not limited to) checking tires and tire pressure, brakes, brake lines, and windshield for cracks.
Experience:
CDL Class A and 3
years' experience OR
Have CDL Class A and 2
years' experience AND A Trucking School Certificate
MUST HAVE DRIVEN CLASS A VEHICLE 6 OF THE LAST 24 MONTHS, NO EXCEPTIONS
Towing and/or roll-off w/PTO experience, preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
MUST be able to READ and SPEAK English
MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE
Must have MEDICAL CARD
Pull Chain Experience
ROLL OFF W/PTO Experience PREFERRED
Dumpster Experience PREFERRED
Dock to Dock Driving Experience
Physical Labor NECESSARY!
MUST HAVE A SAFETY CONSCIOUS FOCUS!!
Having moved heavy Equipment STRONGLY PREFERRED
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE DRIVING A CLASS A TRACTOR TRAILER FOR AT LEAST 6 OF LAST 24 MONTHS
MILITARY EXPERIENCE IS GLADLY ACCEPTED!!
Candidates having previously worked as a Driver for extremely SAFETY CONSCIOUS companies, OR Drivers with safety awards, commendations, etc., will be given first consideration!
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
